We work on Class A, B, C and Super C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers, fixing the household appliances and systems that make them livable. No towing, no dropping your rig at a shop.

Wine Country RV Service

A certified tech who comes to the valley

The Santa Ynez Valley is its own world — wine-country roads, higher-end coaches, and travelers rolling through Solvang and Buellton all season. It's also inland, which means hotter summer afternoons and colder winter nights than the coast, and that puts real strain on the systems that keep an RV comfortable. When something stops working, we come over the pass to you — your driveway, a storage lot, or your spot at the campground. You're not hauling a 40-foot coach into town to sit in a shop bay for a week.

Tim Lavender is a Master Certified RV technician through the National RV Training Academy, with 30-plus years in the household trades behind that credential — heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical, the same systems an RV runs on. See the full list of RV systems and appliances we service.

What We Fix

The systems that make your rig livable

Heating & Cooling

Rooftop AC diagnosis, repair and replacement — valley heat is hard on units — plus furnace and heat troubleshooting for cold valley nights. We also carry new Dometic Blizzard NXT units for direct-swap AC installs.

Refrigeration & Appliances

RV refrigerators not cooling on gas or electric, water heaters, cooktops and the other appliances that make your coach a home on wheels.

Electrical, Power & Batteries

12V and shore power, converters, inverters and chargers, plus RV house battery and lithium upgrades — a real strength for higher-end rigs.

Plumbing & Water

Fresh, grey and black systems, pumps, water heaters and leaks — found and fixed where you're parked.

LP Gas & Safety

Propane systems, regulators, detectors and leak checks, so your rig stays safe on the road and at the campsite.

Slide-Outs, Awnings & Leveling

Slide mechanisms, awning fabric replacement, and leveling systems — the moving parts that take the most wear.

Not sure who to call for a household-system issue on your coach? Call 833-RVTECH-4 and we'll tell you straight whether it's something we handle.

Where We Work

Across the valley, town by town

Wherever you're parked in the valley — a ranch driveway, a storage yard, or a hookup at your favorite park — we bring the shop to you. Here's where we regularly work.

Solvang & Buellton

From full-timers to travelers in town for Danish Days and the wineries. We're a familiar face at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in Buellton and the rigs parked around it.

Santa Ynez, Los Olivos & Ballard

Ranch properties, storage lots, and the wine-tasting corridor. Higher-end coaches and fifth wheels are right in our wheelhouse.

Lake Cachuma & Rancho Oso

Camping at the lake or out at Rancho Oso? We come right to your campsite — AC, fridge and systems handled on the spot.

Los Alamos & the North Valley

The northern end of the valley and the 101 corridor. If you're along that stretch, we can reach you.

Every job starts with a free phone consultation — many issues are solved over the phone at no charge. If an onsite visit is needed, we email a clear written estimate before scheduling. Onsite service starts at $295 for the first hour.

Common Questions

Santa Ynez Valley RV repair — FAQ

Do you come out to the Santa Ynez Valley?

Yes. We regularly cross the pass to serve Solvang, Buellton, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Ballard and Los Alamos. We come to your driveway, storage lot, or RV park — there's no towing and no dropping your rig at a shop.

What kinds of RVs do you work on in the valley?

Class A, B and C motorhomes, Super C rigs, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers. We service the household appliances and systems that make an RV livable — AC, refrigeration, furnaces, water heaters, plumbing, electrical, batteries, LP gas, slide-outs and awnings. We do not perform chassis, engine, or mechanical work that requires a licensed mechanic.

My RV is parked at a valley RV park — can you meet me there?

Yes. We work at valley parks and campgrounds like Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, the campgrounds around Lake Cachuma, and Rancho Oso, as well as private driveways and storage lots. As long as we can access your site, we can work there.

It gets hot in the valley — can you fix or replace my RV air conditioner?

Yes. The valley runs hotter than the coast in summer, which is hard on rooftop AC units. We diagnose, repair and replace RV air conditioners on-site, and we carry brand-new Dometic Blizzard NXT rooftop units for direct-swap installs.

Is there a travel or trip charge to the valley?

Every job starts with a free phone consultation, and many issues are solved over the phone at no charge. If an onsite visit is needed, we email a clear written estimate before scheduling so there are no surprises. Onsite service starts at $295 for the first hour.
